Peter Kritsch received his B.S. in Biology from Valparaiso University and his M.S. in Cell and Molecular Biology from UW-Madison. He has a teaching certification in Biology and has taught Biology and Biotechnology to high school students for 14 years at Oregon High School in Oregon, Wisconsin. He has also served as advisor to approximately 50 OHS students in the Biotechnology Youth Apprenticeship Program.
Other teaching experiences outside of OHS, have included coordinating student-led research projects in Biotechnology through UW-Madison’s Summer Science Institute and PEOPLE program. He is currently involved in teaching Biotechnology concepts and lab skills to teachers from Wisconsin and around the Midwest through the “Biotechnology: The Basics” and “Biotechnology: Beyond the Basics” teacher workshops. He is a member of the National Science Teachers Association (NSTA).
