Scholarship Application Guidelines

Through the generous support of our sponsors, we have been able to bring together an amazing group of presenters and effectively manage the cost to attendees. Even so, we know that the total cost of attending the Forum is too high for some people who would like to join us, and a limited number of need-based scholarships are available. These scholarships are in the form of registration fee waivers: partial ($125) and full ($250).

Please be advised that we receive many requests for complimentary registrations. It is always difficult to turn down these requests, but we simply cannot say “yes” to all of them. While we will consider applications for full scholarships, our intent is to offer as many partial scholarships as funds allow. We encourage applicants to seek other possible sources of funds in addition to submitting an application to the BTC Institute.

If you are interested in receiving a scholarship, please send an e-mail request to Karin Borgh (Executive Director, BTC Institute) addressing the following:

    (1) How is the content of the Forum relevant to your work, your interests? How will you share your Forum experiences, the knowledge you gain, with others?
    (2) What are your estimated expenses? Are you requesting a partial or a full waiver of the registration fee? Please explain why you are requesting assistance.

Applications will be reviewed within two weeks of receipt and those interested are encouraged to apply early. Thank you for your interest in the Forum!
