Student Guests: The
Wisconsin
Biotechnology and Medical Device Association's (WBMA) Fall
Conference,
Science Enhancing Life, will take place
on Thursday, October 18, 2007, at Madison Area Technical College.
There are a limited number of complimentary registrations
available for high school, undergraduate and graduate students.
Poster Contest: The
WBMA is sponsoring a Poster
Contest for college/university undergraduate and graduate
students, with cash awards to be presented at the WBMA Annual
Meeting on December 3, 2007 at the BioPharmaceutical Technology
Center, Madison, WI.
10 winners will receive free admission to the
annual meeting and three
cash prizes will be awarded: one $1000 prize and two $750 prizes.
Applicants must complete an application form (see below)
that includes a project description. These will be
reviewed and those accepted must submit an electronic version of
their posters by November 16, 2007 for judging. Those selected
must print a 36" x 48" version for display at the Annual Meeting.
